Helicoil bolt load and tightening torque calculation
Introducing the calculation of bolt load and tightening torque for the HelicoFlex series.
The "HelicoFlex Seal" is an elastic metal seal developed in collaboration with the French Atomic Energy Commission (CEA). The bolt load for the HelicoFlex series is determined according to CODAP (Annex C6A4: analogous to the "Bolt Tightening Flange Regulations for Pressure Vessels" such as JIS).
